G’day and welcome!

We're your guides, Lucy and Joe (Dingo), and we can't wait to make you feel warmly welcome on our lands.

You may meet some of our family members too – sometimes we have sons or daughters with us, and quite often we have a grandchild or two, or a niece or nephew. That’s because we are a family that believes the future is with the young people.

When we are showing you our culture and traditional ways, we are also preserving our history by teaching the future carers of the lands, as well as showing them how to share that heritage with others.

Vision Statement

Watjan Tours provides authentic cultural tourism experiences and corporate training, with the aims of sharing the beauty of the traditional Aboriginal lands west of Daly River and increasing cultural understanding.

Mission Statement

To educate, engage and immerse people in the traditional ways of Aboriginal culture through customised tag-along tours hosted by friendly and knowledgeable guides. We also strive to build cultural awareness through corporate training and other services.
